
For normal central transmission after the natural gas is recovered from the well, oil/water separation is desired for r. When natural gas contains plenty of oil and water, three-phase segregator is usually used. When natural gas contains plenty of oil or water, gas/liquid two-phase segregator is usually used.
The gas flow coming into the segregator is a high-speed turbulent mixture of gas and liquid. The density of gas differs from that of the liquid. By utilizing the density difference and by means of gravity, centrifugal force and collision process, maintain a certain temperature and pressure for sufficient time so that the gas phase and liquid phase are balanced. Liquid drops and the gas escapes via separation. Thus gas and liquid separation is achieved.
